Job Description

Leidos is seeking an IT Site Lead to manage and direct day-to-day IT support operations for US Army Central (USARCENT) G2 Forward and Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR) CJ2, enabling continuous 24×7 intelligence operations across multiple regional locations. This role also provides oversight to IT support operations for the Office of Military Cooperation – Kuwait,.

This is a high-visibility leadership role supporting U.S. government, military, and coalition partners throughout Kuwait and surrounding countries. The selected candidate will serve as the primary interface between Leidos and multiple government stakeholders, ensuring mission success in a dynamic operational environment.

You will lead a geographically dispersed team of 20+ IT professionals while overseeing operations, personnel management, logistics coordination, contract deliverables, and technical project execution in a forward-deployed setting.

This position is located in Camp Arifjan Kuwait.

Primary Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day IT operations supporting 24×7 intelligence missions, including service desk, desktop support, server administration, storage, network operations, VTC services, and hardware lifecycle management. May also advise and/or assist with facility design or re-design efforts, including floor plan development, security enhancement initiatives, and infrastructure considerations such as power and cooling requirements.
Assist and mentor team members in technical troubleshooting and complex problem resolution. Maintain the ability to perform system, storage, network, and/or desktop administrator duties as required to ensure uninterrupted mission support.
Serve as the primary IT advisor to the G2 Forward and CJ2 Systems Officers. When required, lead IT projects within the organization and provide regular status reporting to government stakeholders and company/contract leadership.Establish clear and attainable project objectives and define detailed project requirements.
Develop comprehensive project plans and manage day-to-day project operations.
Manage stakeholders, project teams, risks, schedules, budgets, and conflict resolution.
Plan, execute, and close projects that meet or exceed customer objectives.
Utilize SharePoint, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint daily to draft, staff, and publish verbal, visual, and written updates covering all aspects of the program, project performance, and contract deliverables.
Implement, document, maintain, and supervise ITIL processes in alignment with organizational policies, regulations, and procedures, with particular emphasis on service desk operations and service management governance.
Coordinate with host-nation sponsors, garrison organizations, and corporate entities to secure and maintain country access (including Kuwaiti work visas), off-post life support (housing and vehicles), and installation/base access for all personnel.
Ensure team members clearly understand and effectively execute their assigned roles and responsibilities.
Ensure full compliance with host-nation laws, U.S. government regulations, and corporate policies across all personnel and operational activities.
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with 18+ years of experience or Master’s Degree with 10+ years of experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
Active DoD 8140 IAT II IA Baseline Certification (e.g., Security+ CE or higher).
Experience managing multi-task contracts of varying types and complexity .
Experience leading teams in a multi-vendor environment.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts on-site, 7 days per week.
On-call availability 24×7, including weekends and holidays.
Current U.S. passport with at least 36 months validity and 5 blank pages.
Must successfully complete CRC processing and medical screening and be designated “fit for deployment” (including medical tests and BMI analysis).
Must obtain and maintain host nation work visa, including required local/regional medical testing.
Must be willing to live and work in the State of Kuwait or deploy to austere forward locations as required.
Must comply with all corporate policies, local site policies, host nation laws, customs, and courtesies.
Position is unaccompanied; off-post housing and vehicle support provided by contract; operational requirements may require further deployment to austere locations.
Preferred Qualifications

CompTIA Project+, PMP, DAWIA PM III or FAC-P/PM Mid-Level in Program Management (or similar) certification.
ITIL Service Desk certification (Foundation or higher).
Experience working with military staff organizations.
Experience supporting USARCENT or other CENTCOM organizations at a forward location.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $92,300.00 – $166,850.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
